The 57-year-old woman was assessed at Cairns Hospital. Queensland’s Chief Health Officer Dr Jeanne Young said the woman is a Red Cross volunteer who was working in Sierra Leone and has placed herself in quarantine. Fortunately, the tests turned negative and the patient was cleared.
